Laboratory of Nematology
Our research is focused on the interactions between nematodes and (a)biotic environmental factors. The goal is to develop methodologies and strategies for durable plant parasitic nematode control with a minimal negative impact on the environment. On the other hand, non-plant parasitic nematodes are reliable indicators for the condition of the environment and methods are being developed that use nematodes to monitor and quantify both disturbance and recovery of soils.
